Residential Construction Superintendent

The Residential Construction Superintendent will manage multiple new construction builds and be responsible for all stages of the build starting from permitting through homeowner key hand off.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Oversee, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the completion of new residential construction projects
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors
  • Monitor budgets and build times
  • Schedule materials, subcontractors, and inspections
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality standards are met
  • Inspect sub-contractors work and release payments

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of residential construction management experience
  • Ability to respond effectively under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change

Work performed by this position may be funded with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds which are subject to compliance with Section 3. Section 3 is a provision of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by certain HUD financial assistance shall, to the greatest extent feasible, and consistent with existing Federal, State and local laws and regulations, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly those who are recipients of government assistance for housing, and to business concerns which provide economic opportunities to low- and very low-income persons.
